To help launch ABC's new show called “The Piano”, we partnered with Curious Nation to create a piano activation that was as emotional as it was interactive.
Set on the Sydney Harbour foreshore during Vivid Sydney, the large-scale interactive piano featured sensors, reactive lighting and custom musical tones mapped to every key.
The activation kicked off with a captivating performance by dancers, setting the stage for what was to come. Soon after, the public eagerly took over. Families queued with excitement, children improvised their own melodies, and with every step, a new note played.
It was a beautiful fusion of performance art and an open invitation to play, creating moments of shared joy and spontaneous creativity. This successful collaboration showcased the power of interactive experiences to engage audiences and create lasting memories.
